About IMPACT
IMPACT (Indigenous Movement for Peace Advancement and Conflict Transformation) is a Kenyan organization working across Laikipia, Isiolo, Marsabit, Samburu, and parts of Turkana County. Dedicated to peacebuilding and community development, IMPACT promotes the rights and aspirations of Indigenous Peoples in Kenya’s Northern Frontiers.
The Journey: Training for Maximum Impact
To strengthen its ability to mobilize resources and write winning fundraising proposals, IMPACT partnered with Vantage Africa School of Leadership. Recognizing the demanding schedules of the staff, Vantage Africa designed an intensive evening Resource Mobilization and Proposal Development course, conducted virtually from 8 PM – 9:30 PM EAT.
The 4-week program allowed staff to balance daytime fieldwork with evening professional development. To further support IMPACT, Vantage Africa provided a 15% discount for multiple enrollments, making the training more accessible while sustaining organizational operations.
